Introduction

The Cambridge Society of Toronto

The Cambridge Society of Toronto exists to organize events where graduates can meet and enjoy one another’s company and keep alive the spirit of the University through social events, wonderful conversation and the sharing of our memories of nights in the College Bar, cramming for final exams or something more….quixotic.

There are over 200 active members of The Cambridge Society of Toronto. Our oldest graduate left Cambridge in 1939, our youngest member was floating down the Cam less than 5 years ago. But we all have something in common – experience of a unique place and happy memories of time spent at one of the world’s finest Universities. And when we get together there is a wonderful mix of experiences, past and present that guarantees a lively and enjoyable gathering. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people, benefit from the incredible fund of knowledge of our Members, share our interests and opinions and have fun.

The events that the society organizes cater to a whole range of interests and span everything from a formal Boat Race Dinner to informal get-togethers at the pub. Guests and partners are welcome at most events. Membership is free and you are charged for events only to cover the costs.
